We operate an e-shop on the website www.shop.galochrom.cz.
For the purpose of providing product sales and operating our website, we process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").
I. Processing of personal data
A. Processing of personal data in the case of using the contact form
If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with your contact details, mainly through the inquiry form. These are name, surname, email address etc.
For what reason?
We will contact you through them for further arrangement regarding our products and services.
Based on what legal ground?
This is processed based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
How long will we process personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 5 years from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data in the case of a purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the data you provide us. These are mainly billing details: name, surname, address, email address, and telephone number.
For what reason?
We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods to you. We will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order or any inquiries or complaints through the contact details you provide.
We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the law (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or to handle complaints and other matters).
Based on what legal ground do we process personal data?
This is processed based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
How long will we process personal data?
For the duration of our service and then for 5 years after the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.
C. Newsletters (commercial communications)
If you are a customer and have not opted out during your purchase, we will use your email address to send our newsletters.
Based on what legal ground?
This is permitted by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, unless you have opted out during your purchase.
How long will we process personal data?
For 5 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via email or by contacting us at marian@galochrom.cz.
II. Who will have access to the data?
Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or individuals who help us operate our e-shop will have access to the data:

We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union and the United States of America.

You can also request restrictions on processing, demand a copy of the processed personal data, request deletion of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases, you have the right to data portability. Objections can be raised against processing based on legitimate interest.
If you believe that we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or alternatively, you can pursue your claims in court.
